Bed & Breakfast
Welcome to our Bed & Breakfast at Drumbuie Farm.
WE ARE NOW FULLY BOOKED FOR THE 2025 SEASON. NEXT YEAR 2026 WE WILL NOT BE RUNNING THE B&B. WE HAVE DECIDED TO CLOSE FOR ONE YEAR TO CONCENTRATE ON THE TEAROOM AND COO EXPERIENCES.
This is one half of our family home - our mum Caroline and dad Ian purpose built this house in 1994 with the intention of it housing a growing family alongside visitors.
Mum has over 30 years experience in B&B-ing and Dad grew up on a farm in Fort Augustus. So when they married in 1976, a working family home was always on the cards.
The west wing houses two ensuite bedrooms - a triple room and a four-poster room.
Since the late eighties people have been visiting our parents at their first Bed & Breakfast down in the village. They came from far and wide to meet the native cow breed Highland cows. Back in the eighties Mum would get a few visitors per week asking about our cows. Mum was a member of the Scottish Tourist board and they were aware of our coos living right next to the house so they had flagged us as a place to see the native cow breed to the highlands. This has now become a huge part of our farm diversification as we now have sometimes hundreds of visitors per day coming to meet the coos.
As a guest at our B&B included in your stay is an up close meeting with coos where you feed and pet them.
